i never really heard hardcore prior to buying this, however my friend recommended it to me and im really quite glad! the mix starts off well with dj vibes steering us in a distinctly happy direction, with such tracks as "funk you" and "outer spaced". the dj then moves into harder territory with "rainbow tune" and "flow on a vibe". the second dj, slipmatt, is outstanding, keeping it hard an fast! onto disc 2, with the best 2 mixes on the album, scott brown gives us an inspiring set, with the opening trancey scatty vocal intro of "second element" with its uber-fast beats and storming bassline. thismore… remains the theme for the rest of his set, with tracks such as "super sharp beatz" and "feel the beat" (no darude comparisons please). the second dj, vinylgroover, unleashes the finest of happy hardcore on us. tracks like "no way back" an "time" really hit the spot! an the whole, a mighty fine hardcore album with all genres an sub genres covered, buy it post haste!
