This album opens with the brilliant Time of your life, followed by the beautiful old Soft Machine standard Memories sung by Robert Wyatt, aftter that it just goes mad. the album sounds like Daevid Allen and a bunch of mates playing whilst drunk... which is what it is, sometimes it works like on the rerecording of the first (unreleased) Soft Machine single Fred The Fish and on other's like the rest of side one it doesn't.
