"Break the Ice" is the second follow-up single to Spears' "Gimme More", following the ultra catchy "Piece of Me". The single begins with Spears both apologising to her fans for keeping them waiting for so long - which suggests that perhaps "Break the Ice" should have been the first single from the album - and also to the man she is singing to.
The song is so catchy and vibrant and plods along through electro and trance infested beats. It is one of the best songs from "Blackout", Spears' fifth studio album, which has been criminally underlooked by many music fans, despite being one of her bestmore…
