Description
Unlike the recent Tenchi Muyo GXP, which only alluded to the original characters, the OVA Ryo-Ohki brings back the gang from the popular comedy-adventure. The always transitory calm of the Masaki household is shattered when new visitors arrive from the planet Jurai. They include Tenchi's older sister Tennyo; Airi, the wife of Tenchi's grandfather; and Noiki, Tenchi's fiancée, chosen for him by Ayeka's and Sasami's grandmother Lady Seto. But these plot twists are largely artifice: more is going on than meets the eye - as is often the case in Tenchi stories.
