For Asia fans, this is a safe purchase. The songwriting and the level of musicianship is as good as we were hoping. These guys still sound fantastic!
The good points: most of the songs display the great writing that we knew from the first album. I'm glad to see Steve Howe prominent in the mix, as well as with a few writing credits, as on the first album, the real power came not just from the strong songs, but the classic arrangements and musicianship of which Howe was key. The production and performances are spot-on. Wetton vocals sounds stronger than ever, Downes provides those great keyboardsmore…
