Description
I have written a review for a number of these "madchester/baggy" compilations and its not so much as critise what has been included, (though a few are a bit odd) but what is missing.
You see anyone can lay there hands on the Roses, Mondays and New Order tunes. Its songs like Weekender by Flowered Up, or Standing Here by the Mill town Brothers, My Rising Star or Shall We Take a Trip by Northside. that a hard to track down and that give a real flavour to the madchester sound rather than Orbital, or Admakski who you can find on any compilation from the era.
