Description
The third album from this French quartet, "Faux Mouvement" is their most ambitious and coherent to date. Valerie Leulliot's voice is as plaintive as ever, but with her velvet tones wrapped in gorgeous swathes of strings, brass, acoustic guitars, and the odd unusual electronic samples, the songs are transcended upwards and upwards, confidently floating in the breeze and your headspace. Abandoning most of their indie roots of the last two albums, opener "Je Reviens" is heaven opening its gates for us all to embrace, seductive strings and a sensual voice give this track a real appeal.
