Description
The band name, album name, and eclectic mix of genres may sound like an attempt at wilful obscurity, but this is actually a very accessible CD. The only way I can think to describe it is that it has the spirit of Les Negresses Vertes' first album, Mlah! The only difference is that, on this one you don't have to learn French to understand it.Although not totally acoustic, there is a very acoustic-punk feel to the whole thing, and it just goes to show that managing to play music with attitude that features fiddles and accordians is not impossible. But Gogol Bordello are not copying LNV or Themore…
