Description
After the gentle, dreamy "New Age Of Earth", Manuel Gottsching returned with a slightly meater, more rhythmic album with much more obvious guitar.
There's a lovely, simple beauty in the tracks here. The melodies are truly uplifting without being over complicated. That Manuel has real skill with the guitar is in no doubt, in fact it's the way he keeps it apparently simple that does it for me. I can think of one jazz/rock guitarist who was amazingly quick fingered and "clever", who ended up giving me a headache with his amazingly intellectual, lightning fast and cerebral recordings that ultimatelymore…
