I've always been a fan of Alanis Morissette, so naturally, I was impressed with this greatest hits.The first half of the album flows really well. When we get to track 7, however, things start to flow less smothely. Track 7 seems like a randomy placed track since it is an acoustic version of 'Princess Familiar'. Alanis is great at acoustic music, but I feel that this track doesn't quite fit on a greatest hits. Perhaps it should have been a bonus track, or a studio version.Moving on, the final section of the album, doesn't quite fit either. The four soundtrack songs, 'more…;Mercy', 'Still', 'Uninvited' and 'Lets do it (Lets Fall in Love)', are those exact things; soundtrack songs. These are then followed by one of Alanis' best known tracks, 'Hand in my Pocket'. A nice finish to the album but I think the mood changes slightly after listening to the four rather interrupting soundtrack songs.The cover of Seal's 'Crazy' is a great song. I didn't know what to expect from this, as the original is a classic. Alanis has done it justice. Giving it a rather upbeat, dance-like sound, it works very well.Overall, the album is what you'd expect from a greatest hits package. With some strange decisions with the arrangement of the album, I give this 4 out of 5 stars.
