I'm glad it's not just me - I've also just sold my copy in disgust at the remastering / remeddling going on here ( I can't even really notice that there's any discernible difference between the three different options available to someone with an SACD player ) The tracks off ' Jinx ' for instance sound like they were recorded in a sock and on others, Rory sounds like he's singing in another room.Also, I know that it's a purely personal, subjective thing but I'd say that a definitive 'best of' that might introduce the man's music to new ears is not the place to wheel out substandard live recordingsmore…
