Having come to this series very recently I was struck by how far it has progressed since the first box; the sound is full and varied and the personalities of the compilers come through strongly. Dougal's mix is a little less absurdly and deliriously happy than on 13 (I'm embarrassingly fond of "Really Love You"), and the 4 discs offer pretty much what one might expect - mind you, consistency is a virtue. Sharkey's is the jaw-dropper, with clever variations in pace and mood and a feast of shifting textures. Does he get dibs on all the unusual tunes? The four-disc format means you're almost suremore…
