This is a amazingly powerful album, with all the political strength and feminism you would expect from Difranco. However, there is a beauitful optimism within this album and a happiness that has been missing from previous records. Her wonderful passion is still present and you will feel empowered by the album, but through a sense of justice not anger; all though it is clear that she still thinks Bush is another word for C**t and that the gun-culture and general lack of love in america is the root of all evil-I'm sure she's not alone there!
