Altan have been going quite a while. This is Irish folksy music played by accomplished musicians with songs sweetly sung by Mairread ni Mhaonaigh. Its a sympathetic recording, the acoustic instruments balanced around the soundstage. Songs interspersed with gaelic joie de vivre on the fiddle.
