The first single release from the new The Life Pursuit record is a radio friendly feast, with the hallmarks of B&S and Stuart in great voice. Like many I thought this was a strange choice for the first release, but after three listens you have the melody whirling round in your head, and you realise how good it sounds on the radio. The B side of Meat & Potatoes has fantastic lyrics about sadomasochism which are laced with dark, smouldering humour; This song would not be written by any other group, which is why is seems so unique and fresh.I could eat these songs for breakfast.....try them yourselfmore…
