Description
Trying to write a review for Ihsahn's first solo album is easier said than done, being a loyal fan of Emperor it is hard to not write a review with the underlying pre-conceptions.
A continuation from Prometheus this is and isn't.
Opening up with the amazing "Invocation" you can tell that there still remains the style that Ihsahn and Emperor brought to the Black Metal scene - a good thing seeing as how they were undouabtly one of the pioneers of mainstream Norwegian black metal.
"Citizen" is clearly a stand-out track on this CD, just one glance at the lyrics and you get an in-depth insightmore…
