I prefer this Duran Duran sound to the American rock of the previous album.
It's a bright, dancy album with absolutely no turkeys!!
I have heard criticism of the Timberlake / Timbaland team but to me, a lifelong fan, this is exactly what Duran Duran should sound like and there are enough echoes of the old stuff here to keep everyone happy.
Definitely their best since Notorious and perhaps their best since Rio.
Okay, so there's nothing here that really makes you go wow! but equally there is nothing here that disappoints. The first half of this album is very strong, stronger than Astronaut.more…
