I have lived with this cd now for around 6 months. I aquired it on import, as the UK is always miles behind anybody else when it comes to this type of excellent music. This band is awesome...enough said. And with Nightwish 'in between singers' at the moment, XANDRIA could quite easily make a serious challenge to the Nightwish mantle! The album gets of to a storming start with the title track 'INDIA', and I think the casual listener to this track may well make comaprisons to Nightwish. And this is followed by one of my personal faves on the CD...'Now And Forever'. This band is tight, and this trackmore… is awesome - just love the keyboards. And if that is not enough, 'In Love With The Darkness' follows, and that is another slab of awesome catchy goth/metal. You'll be humming it in the bath!! Basically, this album as a whole doesn't let up, and it rarely leaves my cd player, with every track a real gem. Anybody who likes Nightwish, Within Temptation, Evanescence and the like, MUST buy this cd at all costs. Lisa sings her little heart out! I reviewed another Xandria CD on Amazon a year or so ago, 'KILL THE SUN', and I made mention that this band could well make the Premier League with future releases. Their second release RAVENHEART took them to a promotion place, INDIA has taken them to the Premier League! 100% awesome. I am sure you will not be disappointed.
