"Into the Wild" is, I gather from the trailer, a film about a kid who decides to leave behind the consumer-driven, technologically-enhanced world we Westerners know as normal and "find himself" (how cliche) in the American Wilderness. Oh, there's adventure and obstacles along the way, of course, to make the story interesting.
