I my opinion 'Will to Death' assures John Frusciante is name that should appear in every aspiring fans music collection.I am a very big fan of Mr. Frusciante and thoroughly enjoyed previous solo efforts 'To Record Only Water For Ten Days' and 'Niandra Lades and Usually Just A T-Shirt'. I was slightly disappointed with 'Shadows Collide With People' mainly because i was put off by the synth-enduced instrumentals. In 'The Will to Death' those songs are all but a nasty memory. John's singing has thoroughly improved over the years, and his relationship with Josh Klinghoffer has inspired me to get intomore… the music industry. 'Will to Death' is a mellow, easy walk through the park of music. If you go on a long journey up the M1 after a bad day at work, this should be the first cd you play. This will cheer you up immensely.In a nutshell, go out and buy this album, its part of Frusciante's six albums in six months. And from the four albums of this series i've heard, 'The Will to Death' is the best by a long way.
