Description
Isola, together with Hagnesta Hill and 2002 release Vapen & Ammunition constitutes the "magnificent three" in the career of this Swedish band. However I have always felt that the English versions of Isola and Hagnesta Hill were somewhat pointless. True, the translations do work to some degree, but some of the power, intensity and atmosphere of the original-language songs is lost. Singer Joachim's English, also, fails to impress, leaving me, at least, with the conclusion that buyers are advised to go for the Swedish version.
