Description
Classics 2003 seems an odd title for compilation released in 2002, especially as many of the tracks on the two-CD set date from 2001 and earlier. What Classics 2003 does offer, however, is a retrospective look at some of the artists and pieces that were popular throughout 2002. Music from some of the new artists who emerged in 2002 is here, including the catchy "Beyond Imagination", title track of the OperaBabes' debut album, and "Vieni fra queste braccia" from Rossini's opera The Thieving Magpie, performed by the extraordinary Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Flórez.
