Scissor Sisters - Take Your Mama (2004) Retail CD
Description
The opening song from the brilliant live show, 'Take your Mama' is about as far removed from 'Comfortably Numb' as it gets. It's much less of a dance record, moving more towards guitar pop (in a good way though, it's more like The Thrills than Travis). It's upbeat, funny and feel-good, and if you've seen the live shows it will definitely take you back. Strange choice for the next single though; I would have thought 'Filthy Gorgeous' was the obvious standout track from the album. Anyway, that's enough of my rambling! Great single, great album, from a truly great band. Scissor Sisters will be aroundmore…
