Ex Mountain and former fat man Leslie West make take up less space these days, but that hasn't stopped him bunging out some quality albums. And this top notch blues album is an absolute joy.
Aided and abetted by the legendary Aynsley Dunbar on drums, Leslie has come up with some unusual choices on this covers album. Yes, you get the well travelled "Blues Before Sunrise", "Tore Down" etc, but he also dips into the Montrose, Free and Creedence catalogues for some rampant blues rock.
