I nearly wrote a review on this album the day I got it but I wanted to be sure, often something that, at first, appears to have so much depth can with time be revealed as a lame duck
I assure you this is by no means a lame duck.
The tunes are black and dark, but at the same time are able to weave you though some of the most thought out and well crafted soundscapes I've heard in a long time.
The voices tend to have equally as much diversity as they sweep from roar to growl, whisper to shout and even a burp!!
.. ok, I may have lowered the tone with that last comment but the burp is actually prettymore…
