This 2 track single is a game of two halves. The title track is wonderful and is easily the best choice of song for release thus far from the album "Sam's Town", surpassing both "When You Were Young" and "Bones", both of which were disappointing. "Read My Mind" is a glorious Killers moment, similar to the Thin White Duke Remix of "Mr.Brightside", in that is manages to be both melancholy and uplifting at the same time. Then there is the Pet Shop Boys remix. I had high hopes for this track. They've been dashed, unfortunately. The bulk of the remix is quite good, giving the track a subtle club tweakmore… but maintaining its mood, until it gives way to a hugely jarring and unexpected mess of a section which sounds like its barged in from another track altogether. Buy this for the main track and approach the remix with caution.
