Probably the best collection of songs to ever come from Canada in the early 1980's,though i liked Teenage Head or the Diodes.Unlike their friends D.O.A,the Pointed Sticks'approach was fresh & energetic,sort of power pop on a vitamins diet,rarely heard at the time,with the possible exception of the Undertones,Buzzcocks,or even the early Dickies.It's very melodic,perfectly played with some keyboards & brass arrangements almost in the mould of Elvis Costello on a few tracks.They also had a "dynamite" drummer,Dimwit,who sadly passed away after the album was issued & the tracks were produced by nonemore…
