Description
This is a very strange record, beginning as a kind of slightly pompous, Clannad-esque version of a song made famous by Christie Moore. The clear-voiced female singer is soon joined by ex-Pogue Shane MacGowan who sings a verse and a couple of choruses in his own inimitable style - all quite pleasant, if a bit dull. Then, from nowhere, Cruachan's lead singer pitches in with classically unpleasant metal-style howling and, before you know it, heavy guitars and a grinding rhythm have taken over for the rest of the track's five minutes.
