This band are unique. Their range of tracks are eclectic yet all wonderfully wrapped in a package of sound that is almost folk like. Jana's voice has the traditional twang of Eastern European folk music, almost Hungarian sounding. The band so deserve to make it big here in the U.K. Here is a brief review of each track : 1. Hurry Up - Psychedelic 70's rock, eat your heart out. A great pick-me up track. 2. Read My Sign - Turn it up loud and dance ! 3. Still Points - An instrumental track, sounds slightly African, a nice little relaxing piece to hear whilst sitting in the bath ! 4. Heyo -more… A little rock number, enjoyable but rather weak sounding compared to the other tracks. 5. Imagine - Beautiful song, beautiful lyrics, gentle and undulating. 6. Realise - Remember the 80's era when everyone was jumping up and down shaking their heads to punk rock, well this is not as strong but one does feel a tendency to jump up and down to this track ! 7. Rescue Me (Let Your Amazement Grow) - This just has to be the best track on the C.D. Jana's wonderful voice has been done complete justice here. The acoustic guitar seems to beat out something that could wake our senses. The sound is quite folkish and begins calmly, building to a high during the chorus. I am sure it will appeal to everyone who hears this track, it will be played until it is worn out ! 8. Dark Moon - Hauntingly beautiful instrumental piece. Look at the night sky whilst listening to this...It does something to you. 9. Rhapsody in Blue - The instrumentals shine in this track, again very traditional sounding, strong guitar influence. 10. See Ya - Something to indulge in when you are feeling wonderfully depressed. The lyrics are very expressive and reflect the feelings of breaking up with a lover. 11. Hear Me - Slightly psychedelic 70's again. Play it when in an angry mood - loud ! 12. So Right - Very Alanis Morrissette(ish)! I can't say much more than that ! 13. Destiny - A Sheryl Crow song. This song is delivered with gentle instrumentals and Jana's folk twang to make it one of the most enjoyable tracks on the C.D.
