Black n Blue weren't pretty, but they knew how to write a catchy tune. Twin guitar attack, pin-sharp harmonies and attitude. Why they never made it big like their contemporaries, such as Motley Crue is beyond me. Listening to songs like Hold On To 18 reminds me of when I actually was 18, buying their first album (Black n Blue) from Shades Records . . .
