Description
Based on actual events which occurred between the mid 1940s and 1953, this film unfortunately may have contributed to the mythology of the innocence of Timothy Evans who was hanged for the murder of his daughter Geraldine in 1949. Having researched the case on and off over a number of years, my own conclusion is that Evans probably did kill his wife, Beryl, but not his daughter for which he was condemned.
