Description
I saw the film years before I read the book. I did not know there was a connection between the two, but once I started reading, sceenes - rather, the feeling - from the film, popped up in my head.
Long, beautiful, human, strange, deep down scary. Excellent actors and filming.
The book is more complicated in plot and description, but the constant feeling of wrongness and potential jack-in-the-box is present in every frame.
