A tribute to the late Duane Allman, "Eat A Peach" was originally a double LP, gathering a handful of cuts from the Fillmore sessions, and a round of studio tracks recorded before Duane Allman's tragic death in a 1971 motorcycle accident.Three of these nine songs are instrumentals; "Little Martha" is a fine little acoustic number, but the nine-minute "Les Brers In A Minor" lacks structure and focus, and the sprawling 33-minute "Mountain Jam" may feature a lot of great guitar playing, but it is certainly a little hard for anyone outside the diehards to sit through.The vocal tracks are excellent,more…
