Description
Anthrax are a band who I think have stood the test of time with their being consistently good but this is the very beginning. With Neil Turbin on vocals and Dan Lilker on bass, Fistful of Metal was their first release. Like the first Metallica and Slayer albums, Anthrax have yet to develop their sound, with nods to earlier bands. The production isn't brilliant but I still like it. Deathrider (I love the cow bell) and Metal Thrashing Mad kickstart the album followed by the Alice Cooper cover I'm Eighteen. Favourite track for me is Panic but I think the album is consistently good.Armed and Dangerousmore…
