Description
This is a review of the film, and not the DVD transfer.This film was the first one that my parents let me stay up late to watch when I was a child, and it has always had special meaning for me.Don Knotts plays a meek, unassertive man who wants to be more than he is. He falls asleep and dreams that he has become a fish (this part is animated, and they did a wonderful job of creating Don Knotts as a fish, glasses and all). As a fish, he becomes the hero he has always dreamt of being, and helps the U.S. Navy do in Nazi submarines during World War II. This is a very good, early fantasy movie for childrenmore…
