Released in 1997, this is the only commercial compilation release featuring material from the Velvet Underground and Lou Reed as a solo artist. The result is disappointing due to the material which is included. VU and Lou Reed have both produced fantastic music over the last 30 years, but the music selected to appeal to the first time listener does not do this. I'm waiting for my man, Venus in Furs and Beginning to see the Light mark VU recording hightlights.
