Now overlay all of that with what's arguably the best tenor voice in the world singing classic boleros, rancheras, tangos and other South American songs and you're right there. This is great fun and demonstrates the flexibility that Juan Diego has as well as his consumate musianship - he's arranged many of the tracks himself. He started singing this stuff with his Dad apparently, before he discovered opera, so it's back to his roots on this CD, and I'm so glad that he decided to take us back there with him. Greatmore…
