I remember going to a white lion gig,and then soon after buying this album.The band who made middle of the road rock always had there albums panned by most of the rock press and magazines,until this album came out,sad in a way as it was there last album with the starting line up when the band was first put together.Mike Tramps vocals go from one range to another on this cd,from the ballads "youre all i need" "love dont come easy" to the loud and proud vocal pumping of tracks like "warsong" "leave me alone" and "when its over".I was lucky enough to see them play at the hammersmith apollo(as itmore… was then)and wembley area with skid row and motley crue back in the late 80s,they are a "true" rock band in every sense of the word and if u have never heard them before do buy this cd,wind ya windows down crack up the volume and let mike and the boys transport you back to the times when rock was rock and not just screams,shouting and ultra fast guitar riffs!!!
