I first heard alexander pires in Venezuela when i was sitting down to a meal in a restaurant. One particular track although in spanish grabbed the attention of my ears and i stopped to coment on how good it was. Well to cut a long story short i bought the cd and then discovered this album to be one of the best albums i have ever heard. It is beautifully produced and has influences old and new. It has a sincerity to what it is and does not try to be something it is not. Although Alexander is Brazilian, he sings in Spanish.
