With the current release of Hed Kandi cds you can see the direction that the brand has taken since being bought by MOS. These compilations are no longer about the music but aimed at making money and rank up there with the NOW!!! That's What I Call Music in the cheesy stakes. Acquiring the brand was a huge coup for MOS but with the increasing commercialisation of house music it was going to be interesting as to which way the brand was to go.
