Description
The Steve Albini-produced "Goat" is the second album by now disbanded Chicago schizo-blues lunatics, the Jesus Lizard. The band is probably best remembered for their 1992 album "Liar" which followed a split 7-inch with Nirvana ([Nirvana] "Oh! The Guilt/Puss" [Jesus Lizard]). Whilst "Liar" remains the record which most honestly replicates the band's fierce and hilarious live performances, Goat is an awesome spiritual blueprint that is oft quoted by fans as their favourite album.
