Description
Spacehog's last LP, "Resident Alien", was a far rockier affair than this one. However, that does not mean that it is bad. Far from it, this album is actually better than the first. The sound progressed significantly in three years - no-one could have thought that the quirky eccentrics who came up with Resident Alien, could produce treasures like "Carry On" and "One of these days". Although I feel nothing but contempt for Michael Stipe and the kitschly twee R.E.M, his voice does bring something to "Almond Kisses". The link from "Goodbye Violet Race" to "Lucy's Shoe" is flawless, and the overallmore…
