Description
Steroids warp the brain and shrink the testicles, which explains why the ludicrously over-the-top action score for Con Air is as dumb as a box of hammers and as gutless as a cleaned catfish. Inflating the now-cliché Media Ventures signature sound to its absurd new levels of testosterone and abrasiveness, Mark Mancina and Trevor Rabin combine to create a score utterly devoid of creative merit. With its swaggering hard rock production and lunkhead melodies, the music suggests a piss-drunk, frat-party cover band more than a big-budget Hollywood production. Positively worthless.
