I was very eager to receive my SACD copy of In the Flesh and received it at the same time as the SACD version of DSOTM. I made the mistake by listening to DSOTM first (which is fantastic) and afterwards to ITF. The sound of In the Flesh is truly disappointing if compared to the job they did on DSOTM. Compared to the DVD, there is no real improvement and the sound via the "B" (or rear) channels on a 5.1 amplifier is very dissapointing. If compared to the 2-track stereo version, there is no big improvement, unlike the gigantic leap in sound improvement on DSOTM. Nevertheless, it is great tomore…
