Description
Given the indifference that greeted the wonderful Mondo Bizarro (1992), the Bronx brudders have opted this time for a Pin Ups-style flashback to the '60s. They play it disappointingly safe on over-exposed material from the Jefferson Airplane, Jan & Dean, and the Stones, but kick out the jams convincingly for, "Substitute" (featuring guest vocalist Pete Townshend) and reveal what could-a-been with hard and fast versions of, "7 And 7 Is" and "My Back Pages." --Jeff Bateman
