The recording career of Frank's kid Nancy could have easily sunk without a trace, but producer/songwriter Lee Hazlewood had a vision for Nancy, which he was able to capture on audio tape time and time again. He created a persona of a tough, sexy chick who sang like a 16-year-old girl at the end of an affair with a 40-year-old man.
