Mindy is a brilliant singer and gets the chance to show it on this excellent collection of songs. The title track is a song about vulnerability while Guys do it all the time is an amusing look at different attitudes regarding men and women. Other favorites of mine include Maybe he'll notice her now and A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do, although every song here is a gem.The first nine tracks are (as far as I know) all originals, but the album closes with an oldie, Breaking it, which first appeared on a Claire Lynch album in the early eighties.
