Fear not, little cowpokes. Original Sin is simply the Mekons' remarkable 1985 Fear and Whiskey album as it was repackaged in 1989 for the digital era. The album is included in its entirety, along with nine additional tracks from the same era. The added take of Gram Parsons' "$1,000 Wedding" is worth every penny this set costs. Leave it to Leeds' favorite art punks to create such a perfectly drunken, literate blend of timeless Americana and mid-'80s vintage British political disillusionment.
