Elodia it's probably their best work.All songs are emotive, well-composed and though the symphonic instrumentshave already taken all the protagonism, their voices are still there, the lyricsare still romantic and guitars are still there.Metal has lost the main protagonism here, and so, the gothic 'etiquette' could beforgotten, if we make a reference to their music (their look will always be goth)In fact, the first song 'Am Ende der Stille' is totally symphonic, with just a few verses.As introduction of the album, it's perfect.'Alleine zu zweit', the single, it's also one of their best songs. Heremore… we already can seetheir evolution as musicians, singers and writers. The lyrics are very romantic and sangby both Tilo & Anne. 'Halt mich' is the shortest song in the album but the classicalinstruments may be the ones which best sound in the album.'The Turning Point', Anne Nurmi's song, makes a perfect mixture of metal and classicalmusic, as she explores the differents degrees of her voice.'Ich verlasse heut' dein Herz' is for me the best song of the album. It has beautiful tune,beautiful lyrics, beautiful voice by Tilo. The piano and the violins sounds really well with the electric guitar and bass.'Dich zu töten fiel mir schwer' is the hardest song of this album, the most metal one,although there is a growing-up presence of symphonic sounds. The lyrics as the voicesare like full of anger.'Sanctus' seems to be another symphonic composition. In fact, some lyrics are in latin andthe atmosphere reminds of a church choir, but in the middle as Tilo appears the hard musicappears too.'Am Ende stehen wir zwei' is supposed to let us guess how the next album will be.The choir is really good, and they sing together as in 'Alleine zu zweit' but this is a ballad.It's also a hard song, another picture that shows the cool mixture that Lacrimosa makeswith classical and rock / metal music.
