Okay, this man has released loads of innovative material again and again, including milestones in music history (occupying one complete shelf in my room). So the most stupid thing I could say would be, now this sounds different. Because everything he's done so far was different in one way or another. Hm. But sorry, it IS different.For me, this one is the most authentic Emerson ever. Wonderful! It sounds and feels intimate, passionate, with A-okay technique as usual, but wait... - could it be that a new touch of tenderness somehow found a way into Emo's work?From the very first note of „Vagrantmore…", you feel like you're being given insights into an amazing artist's individuality. Really inspired elegant 1 to 5 minute pieces, each with a written introduction by Emerson himself, and played so pure they will instantly get under your skin. Simply because it's impossible to feel nothing while listening. Zynics who prefer the shallow waters in artistic work may be warned, yes, Keith can touch hearts. Which probably counts most in the year 2002.
